Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist : Burgandy Burn- Review

Hello everyone,

I had recently picked up one of the pretty six shades of the newly launched Lakme' Absolute Gloss Sylist (shown in my post HERE) and it's about time I reviewed it!! The shade I picked was Burgundy Burn which has nothing "Burgundy" about it!! there are a total of six shades in this range and all of them are bright colors. They are Berry Cherry ,Burgundy Burn,Pink Pout, Neon Pink, rust Crush and Coral Sunset.

Product Claims:
Get super luscious lips with this revolutionary gloss that incorporates unique reflecting powders and shiny polymers for a lacquered finish

The Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist (INR 700/5 ml) is a beautiful warm raspberry pink with subtle golden shine. The fine golden shimmer in the formula lends it that pretty shine which itself is not noticeable otherwise. The shade can be a  beautiful everyday pink for a lot of women across a varied skintones. It's the kind of Pink that makes your teeth appear whiter .

The texture is neither too runny not too thick , somewhere in between. It spreads evenly on the lips without settling in fine lines, and while a single coat provides enough color on the lips to cover mild pigmentation, two coats on the lips will give you complete opaque coverage. The best part about this gloss is that it's non-sticky(I hate sticky tacky lip glosses!!).

It stayed on my lips for a good 2+ hrs after which is fades, but the moisturizing formula keeps the lips nourished for long, but when the color fades, it does not leave a stain behind (which was definitely something I expected from a gloss priced this high!!)

The packaging is strikingly similar to the Chambor Glitzy Glosses. The applicator is a regular sponge tip kind, and the excess products gets brushed off while taking out the wand from the tube. It's nice and serves the purpose but really, I would have preferred something more stylish ;)

I would have also appreciated an Ingredients list on the packaging :/

The Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist Burgundy Burn is a Raspberry Pink with warm undertones and a shiny lacquered finish because of the fine golden shimmer in it . It is medium pigmented and layering it up gives completely opaque color coverage. The gloss stays for 2+ hrs on me without eating or drinking and doesn't leave a stain behind. At this price tag, I think Lakme could've done a better job but I'm not really complaining because it's a pretty shade of pink , that makes teeth look brighter and quite an unusual shade in my gloss collection.
