Max Factor COLOR ELIXIR Giant Pen Stick In Foxy Amber ( Rs 675/2.8 g, available online at Nykaa.com and across Max Factor Counters in Lifestyle stores)
The Max Factor Color Elixir Giant Pen Stick in Foxy Amber is one of the latest products to join the Lip Crayon category and since I love these small chubby crayons so much, I knew I had to pick one . There are many shades to choose from , shimmery plums, to neutrals and n*des , although I found that most of them were shimmery.
Foxy Amber is a beautiful warm rose shade that I feel will work great across varied skin tones. It is medium pigmented so it doesn't look like a LOT OF COLOR on your lips and is perfect for work wear as well as for college going girls. It is comfortable to wear and given medium even coverage in a few gentle swipes.
The texture is more like a tinted lip balm, and it was easy to apply on the lips and gave a glossy healthy finish. It was moisturizing and even after the color wore off after about 2 hrs of wear, my lips felt soft and supple.
The ingredients are not mentioned on the product but there is a list on the Max Factor website that I've picked and placed above for your reference.

My biggest dislike was that after the color wears off, there is absolutely no hint of color anywhere on the lips.At this price point I expected a little more in terms of leaving behind some tint behind. And for this reason reapplication becomes necessary.
Also, the pen is not the usual twist up kinds, but a sharpen-able one and that of course leads to product wastage. A small tip that can come in handy is you can leave the lip crayon in the refrigerator overnight and then sharpen it to minimize loss of product. but the product surely looks great with a black body, with Golden embossed branding and a matching end and a transparent cap.
|You can see it is not a full coverage product, as claimed, with my lip pigmentation showing through the color.|
Overall, I like the Max Factor Color Elixir Giant Pen Stick in Foxy Amber because of the moisturizing properties and for the color but not as much for it's staining part. It is like a tinted Lip Balm with a little more gloss and obviously better looking packaging. I am not repurchasing any more although it's quite likely that I will finish up most of this one in this winters.
