Mumbai: CLOSE-UP Diamond Attraction Instant White Smile Event

Hi Everyone,

A few days back, I was invited by the Close-Up India Team to attend the Diamond Attraction Instant White Smile Event that was to be held in Mumbai. The Close-Up India Team was really nice and acted as great hosts and made arrangements for travel and stay for bloggers from  many parts of the country travelling to Mumbai for the event. This was my first time travelling to a different city as a blogger and I must say I was totally looking forward to it.

On Saturday, the 5th of July, a little while after noon, we reached Mumbai and were taken to the Hotel Juhu Plaza to rest for a while before we would again be taken to the venue of the party. I shared room with Bharti of crazypolock and totally enjoyed her company because she's such an easy going and fun person to be with. We got ready for the party and whilst waiting for our cabs, took loads of pictures and chatted away with innumerable cups of tea and enjoyed the amazing view of the sea from the room.

For the event, I wore this Green dress from a brand called CODE, which I had picked up from Lifestyle, Koramangala, Bangalore. I accesorized it with simple diamond studs and a statement neckpiece from Forever 21. I carried with it a nude handbag from Esbeda and matched my wedges which are from Pavers, England. Kept my makeup simple with my current favorite foundation by Make Up For Ever , MAC's Fleur Power Blush and MAC's Retro Matte Lipstick In Flat Out Fabulous. The eye makeup was a simple soft smokey eye that I created using MAC eyeshadows in Club and Folie.

We reached the venue (Bungalow 9, Bandra) sometime around 7 pm and as soon as we reached, the ambiance of the place totally prepped up our moods. The venue was dimly lit (mostly with blue ultra violet light , which went well with the theme of the event), and there was an in-house DJ playing some great music. Soon, I met up with many other Blogger, many from Mumbai, and that is like one of the best experience for me as far as any blogger event is concerned.

The close-up team had come with this wonderful idea to keep props right at the entrance, so just when you enter, you can choose what prop you would like to get clicked with. Most of us got ourselves clicked in pairs, in groups and also pose solo once in a while. It was fun!!

A witty and beautiful host can totally glam up an evening!!

The event marked the launch of the New Close-Up Diamond Attraction Whitening Toothpaste with some pretty girls dancing in their white and beautifully lit attires and introducing the toothpaste. The brand manager of close-Up India also explained to us the Instant and Progressive Whitening Effects of the toothpaste, which was also demonstrated by dipping some stained pearls in the Blue whitening solution and seeing the visibly whitened effect in UV light. I am quite excited to try this toothpaste to see how it actually works. The brand manger of Close-Up India told us that it was more of an Optical illusion that gets created when you brush your teeth with the Close-Up Diamond Attraction Toothpaste that gives that INSTANT Whitening effect. Over a period of time, the whiteness of your teeth will get better but then there's always a threshold until which the whitening effect works. I really liked the simplistic and realistic approach of Close-Up India in this regard.

Overall, it was a wonderful event to attend, as along with the introduction of a new product in the Oral Care segment, I also got to experience the wonderful hospitality of the hosts and got to meet blogger friends from different parts of the country.

I plan to review the Close-Up Diamond attraction toothpaste , which we received in the Press kit in a couple of weeks so in case you wish you know more about it, stay tuned on the blog!!

Till next time, ciao!!

  1. So have you noticed any visible results after consistent use?

  2. I have to say I absolutely loved going to Boston restaurants the other night. The people that work there were trying to create an optimal dinner experience while making your choices their priority.
