Hi Everyone,
When it comes to celebrating Durga Puja , Navami nights are special for two reasons, first, your heart and soul are happy and fulfilled with all of the previous 3 days of celebrations and second, you feel a little sad because the great celebrations are coming to an end. For us, we typically like to enjoy Navami nights by taking it a little easy and staying at only one Puja pandal for the entire evening, eating away to glory all of those Mughlai Paranthas and fish chops like there's no tomorrow and enjoying the cultural programs with the entire family. Usually, I like to take it one level up with some heavy makeup as opposed to light makeup that I usually wear, because Navami Nights I know would be easy and COMPARATIVELY sweat free ;)
Here's a makeup look I did today that you can easily wear on a Navami Night (or for that matter on any other day of the Pujas as well, as long as you are comfortable with it!!). I applied lavender eyeshadow on the lids and darkened it towards the outer corners with a deeper eyeshadow, added some teal blue in the crease and a frostly light blue to highlight. Also added some glitter in the center of the lids with the Deborah Milano Extra Pearly Stick Eyeshadow Charming Violet. Completed the look with a pink Blush and a Lavender lipstick.
Hope you like the look!!
P.S.: Please excuse the change in color temperature of the pictures, the sun was playing hide &seek with me today and I didn't have much time for its whims, so quickly took these pics before I had to rush out for some work!! ;)
