Earrings have always been an inseparable part of my outfits!
All that actually matters is what am I wearing and if my earrings would match up to my outfits and give me the look I desire for. However, I must have my earrings on everytime I step out of the house without which I feel just so incomplete. With consumerism on the rise and women’s fashion being an ever expanding arena for marketers, there’s no dearth of designs that are available in the markets. You just need to know the right places to shop from and the rights things to look for.
My love for collecting fashion earrings kind of took off when I was doing my post graduate degree. Before that, I mostly relied on what my mom would pick for me, and that would generally include traditional gold earrings. this was partially because I never had the time or the leisure to go around exploring marketplaces and partially because I didn't quite know where to check since I was staying far away from home.
So yes, once the fever caught on, I went bonkers with picking up fashionable and trendy earrings from everywhere I could. Whether they were from a fashion store in a shopping mall, or whether they were some Sparkle Street Earrings, everytime I spotted something that would catch my attention, it would more often than not go into my shopping basket.
irrelevant of your geographical location, finding great shopping places for the coolest fashion stuff isn’t quite hard. You get them in your regular markets and you get them in online stores too. There’s no dearth of places you can shop from. The choices aren’t really limited to chic every day wear earrings, but also designer and fancy earrings with coloured synthetic stones like Rubies and Sapphires and Zircons. You get them in all sorts of metals lie silver, Gold plated silver and rhodium look alike. They go very well with Indian Ethnic wear like sarees, suits or lehengas and because of the wide variety available, they are also becoming a popular choice as wedding jewellery.
I’m personally, am a great fan of Jhumkas (that pair great with my everyday workwear suits), or Chand Balis, Chandelier earrings and Ramleela earrings that match up with my traditional sarees.
Whether your fashion sense is Boho-Chic, Hippie, Retro, Vintage , western, rocker or the classic Indian traditional , none of the looks would be complete without the addition of some studded sparkly bling on your earlobes.
