Dual-phase make-up remover formulated to thoroughly cleans skin, removing every last trace of make-up from the face, eyes and lips.
It has a delicate 3in1 cleansing and hydrating effect: the lilac phase contains gentle oils that remove make-up from the face, eyes and lips (even waterproof), leaving skin feeling soft and fresh.
The pink lotion is a featherlike formula that respects the sensitive eye contour area.
The Deborah Milano CLEAN SKIN Gentle Makeup Remover Water, recommended for sensitive skin, comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip top cap. The packaging is simple and fuss free and the cap doesn't spill contents at any point in time. Neat and Clean!
The Cleansing water is a bi-phased remover that has cleansing oil (lilac colored)and a base (pink lotion), so while using, you need to shake the bottle properly so that these two mix up, and then take the product on a cotton swab/pad. No need to rinse afterwards.
I am usually not very fond of bi-phased removers after my first one caused terrible breakouts. I stayed away from bi-phased removers for about 2 years and used only cleansing milks during that time. While browsing through Deborah Milano Counter one day, I spotted this product and since it mentioned as being for sensitive skin, I decided to give it a try.
The Deborah Milano CLEAN SKIN Gentle Makeup Remover Water has in a way restored my faith in bi-phased removers. This makeup remover water claims to have a 3-in-1 action , that is, it removes face makeup, eye and lip makeup and also acts as a toner.
I have had the most wonderful results by using this as an eye makeup remover. It very gently cleans off the most stubborn eye makeup like the Urban Decay Primer Potion (Sin), MAC's Paint pots, and Maybelline's Color Tattoos along with liners like the Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate and Revlon Color stay eye liner pencils.Even waterproof ,mascaras are taken off in a jiffy. I take the product on a cotton swab, press it on gently on my lids for about 10 seconds, and swipe away in a single stroke. The remnants under the lower lashline and on the waterline are taken off my taking the product on a Q tip and gently sliding across in a neat ,clean stroke. At no point in time has it ever caused any irritation on my eye area which is always more sensitive than the rest of the face.
For face makeup, it's great too,and everything is taken away in a few strokes of the cotton swab soaked with the product.
After the makeup is taken away, I usually take a little more of the product on a clean swab and gently run across the face for taking away the last traces of makeup ,if any. At this time, the face surely looks a little oily, but I realized the oiliness was only temporary and even if I didn't wash my face, like it mentions on the bottle, my skin looks soft and radiant. The toner in this one sure works its magic.
The DEBORAH MILANO CLEAN SKIN Gentle Makeup remover is my recommendation for anyone who has not had a good experience with bi-phased makeup removers and are looking for a makeup remover specifically meant for sensitive skin. It is definitely a little more pricey as compared to many drugstore makeup removers, however, it is way too gentle to cause any breakouts or skin irritation, but quite effective in cleaning up the most difficult of makeup. In short, an excellent makeup that conditions the skin as it cleans. LOVE it!
