NewU Glitterati Nail Enamel , Rs 75/5 ml , available at NewU stores across India
I am back with two more Glitter Nail Enamels from the house of Dabur, the NewU Glitterati Nail Enamels in Glamerous and Steel Glaze .
(Read my review on a glittering Silver shade called Icy Cool HERE , and some more HERE, and keep watching this space for some more coming up!!)
#74 Glamerous (I know wrong spelling, but that's how the NewU team has spelled it!! ), a pretty shade of warm pink with fine silver shimmer that lends it a sheen. It is not exactly how I would picture a glitter nail polish, but on it's own, I think it's a lovely shade that many women would like . I am personally not fond of such light warm pinks as they don't go very well with my skin tone. But that wouldn't affect my opinion about it's performance which is great to say the least. It goes opaque in one coat, dries fast and stays on for a good 3-4 days without chip. It is also very easy to take off since the shimmer is fine.
#113 Steel Glaze is a beautiful shade that has larger silvery looking hexes that give multi-color reflections and smaller black round glitter swimming in a translucent grey base full of fine shimmer which again gives multi color reflections as light hits it. It is truly a unique shade and I'm so glad I got to try it. It looks great on its own as well as a top coat. In the picture below, I have worn it on its own as well as over a black base. I also want to try wearing it over a lighter base like white just to see how the black glitter stands out. The consistency of this one is thicker than that of #Glamerous, and so the drying time is also a little high, but the end effect is totally worth it. 5 days of wear without any chip!! what more can I ask for.
Overall, these Glitterati Nail Enamels are my new found love and I just can't have enough of them. These are my favorites in the budget Nail Polish category and you girls probably know it by now!!
